Please Note, we are currently in a five year contract for the disposal of this material. Renewal of this contract is in July 2017. Until then there is only Green Bark and Willow Trunk Off cuts available. Please See each section for availability.
We have willow by products, these are disposed of in bulk.
We manufacture many hundreds of thousands of cricket bat blades per annum which leaves us with thousands of tonnes of by products that have many uses. The wood is free from any preservatives, paints, plastic and metal. It is virgin wood that has received no treatment or contamination whatsoever. The moisture content can range from 20% to 55% depending on the size of wood and time of year it is processed, we do have a large area in the open for storage. We are always looking for new ideas for this product so please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in large quantities.
Green Bark Bark – from the outside of the tree. Length of all bark is 711mm or 28 inches long, width varies from narrow slithers to around 6 inches in winter. In summer width can be up to 1.5 metres. It makes an ideal mulch when chipped. This is currently available for collection. Please note we can only allow vehicles of 50 Cubic Metres plus for collection. Clean Off Cuts Thin, clean off cuts from the circular saw process. All are 711 mm or 28 inches long and are very clean. Thickness can vary approximately from 2 mm to 100 mm, with some pieces larger and some smaller. Again these produce a good chip with the right machine. *Currently Unavailable.*
Log sections for Chipping or Firewood Larger sections of wood up to 711 mm or 28 inches in length with diameters of between 3 inches to 18 inches, with some pieces larger and some smaller. It makes good firewood for wood burners but also is very suitable for chipping to use as mulch or as bio fuel for wood burning boilers and power stations. *Currently Unavailable.* Willow Trunk Off cuts This is the wood we cut from the end of the trees before we start our manufacturing process. This range in size from approximately 16 Inches in diameter to around 60 inches in diameter. These are available for collection and are useful for log production to use in Wood burners. This is currently available for collection. Please note we can only allow vehicles of 50 Cubic Metres plus for collection. Please contact us via the contacts page if you are interested.
